Biography
Shruthi is one of our Learning Support Teachers. She has done her M.S from a reputed University in U.S. She believes that a child should be taught with pure love and in a very simple manner, according to the child’s capacity and willingness to understand and learn. She says, “Teachers spend all their life, energy and resources in selfless service to the society. They are the ones who give up their family, time and help to mould young minds and serve the society. This is true service.” Her favourite quote (taught by her favourite teacher) which keeps her motivated all the time is “Do everything in a positive thought without any expectations. Then the goals can be achieved very easily.” She’s self-driven, enthusiastic and quick learner. She wanted to do something in her career that’s challenging, interesting and makes a difference in everyone’s life. She looks towards her life and career with a positive attitude. Her favourite hobbies are reading and exploring, gardening and crafting handmade jewelry.
Experience with CGIA
“This is my first year as an LST here in CGIA and it’s been a great journey so far. The support and guidance from the wonderful CGIA team has made me feel really comfortable in sharing my views, observations, needs, feelings and thus creating a positive environment in the school. Spending time with kids is really beautiful. It’s pure positive energy. I like the way how teachers include the special needs children in their daily activities along with the other kids, without making them feel that they are special. They are also given a platform to grow further. Teachers encourage the children every time. I feel thankful and happy to be a part of the team.”
