Shamila, our Special Education Department Coordinator, is deeply committed to helping students and creating meaningful change in their lives. With expertise in Special Education, she leads a team of 14 dedicated staff members, supports school-wide initiatives, and conducts teacher training sessions. She also guides student support teams in setting up and achieving individualized learning goals with care and consistency. Known for her empathy and dedication, Shamila fosters an inclusive environment where every child feels valued, supported, and confident. She believes each child is unique, with the potential to learn, grow, and succeed, and she works closely with students and parents to nurture lasting growth.

CGIA truly feels like a second family to me. I’m grateful to be part of a community that has entrusted me with the SEN Department and values both staff and students in such meaningful ways. What I cherish most is our culture of inclusivity, respect for diversity, and the way everyone is made to feel valued and supported. The most rewarding part of my work is witnessing our students’ growth and the happiness it brings to their parents. I’m fortunate to have supportive directors who welcome new ideas and encourage innovation, along with colleagues who work together with dedication toward our shared goals. These blessings inspire me to give my best each day, as I continue contributing to CGIA’s growth and success.
