At Common Grounds International Academy, our teachers are more than educators. They are gentle guides who walk alongside their students, growing and learning with them each day. They begin every morning with presence and intention — ready to listen, respond thoughtfully, and care deeply.
Their classrooms are built on trust. Children feel safe, understood, and valued, free to learn in ways that feel joyful and meaningful. Though each teacher’s journey is unique, they share one purpose: to create a second home where connection comes before instruction and learning unfolds naturally.
One of the unique aspects of CGIA is its ongoing professional development of teachers. Through a two-week intensive training at the beginning of the year, monthly workshops, feedback, observations, and coaching opportunities, the staff are constantly upgrading their technological abilities and instructional practices. The collaborative and active learning environment is not just representative of the classrooms but also of the training itself. The positive learning environment created for staff is reflected in their classes.

Director’s Message
Dear students, parents, and well-wishers,Common Grounds International Academy has been my second home for more than a decade. I began here as a classroom teacher in a multi-age learning environment, and today I have the privilege of serving as the Academic Head and one of the Directors. This journey has reinforced my conviction that education extends far beyond academic performance. It is about nurturing grounded, joyful, confident human beings who feel deeply connected to their community and the world.I continue to grow as a leader and educator through ongoing learning. With my current studies in Psychology and Education Administration, along with my training as a Certified Life Coach, Holistic Education Coach, and NLP Coach, I am able to support students, teachers, and parents with professional insight, empathy, and intentionality.Holistic education lies at the heart of our philosophy. We believe success is reflected not only in marks but also in qualities such as confidence, kindness, resilience, problem-solving, adaptability, and a strong sense of identity. When a child enters school each morning with excitement and leaves feeling capable and encouraged, we know real learning has occurred and for that, we are deeply satisfied.Parents are valued partners in this mission. As a fellow parent of three CGIA students, I understand the dreams and concerns that come with raising a child. At CGIA, we welcome parent voices and work closely with families to ensure harmony between school and home. When both spaces provide clear communication, consistent guidance, and unconditional acceptance, children flourish.Our vision is to raise balanced, compassionate, globally aware individuals who contribute positively to their walks in this life and to society, especially to those who need care and understanding.
