Kavitha
Lower Primary Teacher
Biography
Kavitha has always had a passion for working with children. It was the passion for nurturing her own kids that lead her to seek a degree in Montessori. A mother of two, she loves nothing more than to watch her kids learn new things, and to experience life. Kavitha brings that same enthusiasm to the classroom at CGIA. She handles grade one to three (multi-age class room). In a multi-age classroom with individualized instruction, children are viewed as unique individuals and the teacher focuses on teaching each child according to his/her strength. Kavitha, like the other staff at Common Grounds, believes that all children can learn and that she is here to help them become the best they can be. Additionally, she appreciates the opportunity to communicate with parents and children. Parents are always valued and welcomed in her classroom; she is a good listener. Any thought and concern regarding her students are very important to her. Kavitha’s hobbies include interior design, art, music and dance.
Experiences with CGIA
“I count each year as a blessing. This my tenth year and I am still as inspired as I was in the first year. I am very thankful to have the opportunity to be part of these precious children’s life. Not only the children are amazing, but also the staff members are the greatest to work alongside. I feel very blessed that I am part of CGIA. I am looking forward another rewarding year at CGIA.”
